Tuesday, November 19, 2019 1:00 PM ~ 2:30 PM ET
Attendees will learn about the Employment and Training Administration's (ETA) Quarterly Report Analysis and how it may be used to support state level data validation processes.
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requires the Departments of Labor and Education to establish data validation guidelines to ensure that information contained in program reports are valid and reliable. The Departments developed joint guidance which provides a general framework for data validation on the performance accountability guidelines required under WIOA section 116 (Training and Employment Guidance (TEGL) 7-18). With this guidance, ETA developed the Quarterly Report Analysis technical assistance tool to support grantees’ data validation efforts by identifying areas in their reported data that may require additional attention or correction.
- Provide an overview of the Quarterly Report Analysis format;
- Review the data inputs used to develop the Quarterly Report Analysis;
- Highlight the applications of the Quarterly Report Analysis; and
- Discuss implementation strategies.
ETA staff will give state representatives an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback regarding effective technical assistance approaches to support state data integrity and validation processes.
